Chugging along

The scale showed I'm down another 1.5 lbs. so I logged it yesterday! Yay!

I will be working on my cardio fitness for the next week preparing for another round of 3 1-minute consecutive spar rounds in karate class to earn an achievement needed to test for my black belt. That may not sound like a lot, but I challenge you to go full-on spar for just a single minute! I got knocked on my rear once - got back up and kept going. Came out with a couple more dings on me than I had going in, but ya give everyone a high-five and a hug after the match, so it's all good!

Spar class is kinda like the diet. I get knocked down by a couple cookies more than what I thought I'd eat going in, but just get back in the game and keep trying. I guess, in a way, it's like I need to work on my nutritional fitness as much as anything else. That will get me my achievement of controlling my portions in order to take another step toward my goal of being physically fit!

Hmmm. Yeah. More practice!
