I have had so much going on anything extra has just gone undone. I am determined to stay more consistent with this. My husband has been gone all week. It was hard not to see him today. The kids and I did a special dinner together and I didn't worry about calories for it. I think I must have done something right, the kids picked garlic roasted asparagus for a vegetable and shepherd's pie for the main course. The fruit was tropical fruit with marshmallows (not so healthy). We also made 7 layer Mexican dip with organic blue corn chips. For dessert we made rocky road brownies and chocolate covered strawberries. It was all very good. then we all cleaned the kitchen together. now my daughter is reading Lord of the Rings to her brothers. A good ending to the day. Sugar was bad today, but I have been doing good since the beginning of the week. My goal is to eat only one sweet thing a day. Until today, I have done well. Sleep has been hard with my husband gone. Last night I got to sleep good, but the cat woke me up around 3 am and It took a while to get back to sleep. This has been a long blog, but I had some catching up to do.
