Sick on Valentines Day

Thursday, February 14, 2013

So I shared a day with my hubby in bed on Valentines....but not in a romantic way...we were sick! Head colds and stomach bugs at the same time....not fun!! But we were able to show our love to each other by taking turns taking care of one another! I think it was a bittersweet way to spend the national love holiday!

On another note weigh in day is tomorrow. I didn't do all I should have last was a rough one like I had previously wrote. But it's a new time and a new day to make better choices! I found out last night at church that they just recently started meeting 3 days a week in the mornings for a ladies workout class. I'm so excited! I have so much to do before my parents get here and I just took on a role as a Bible study teacher on Saturdays that's to start March 2nd, so I have so much to do but once my parents leave I'm there!! I have to clean house and workout at home until my parents leave on march 4th. My church is about 30 minutes away and I just don't have the gas or time to get up there on the mornings they meet right now. But Next month I'm going to start attending!! I'm really excited. It's lead by a former instructor of curves. The first 30 minutes is geared for old women and those not able to do all the exercises, I told my friend at church that I would benefit from that portion now...but work up to the full hour as a goal! I don't drive as I have siezures so my dear hubby would have to just hang out at church while I worked out....but he said he didn't mind. I think this class is a Godsend and I could mingle with the ladies before too...sounds good to me!! Anyways, I hope Jason and I feel better tomorrow! I have lots to do! I hope everybody had a nice valentines day! What did you and your sweetheart do? God bless and happy sparking!! emoticon

So sorry you two missed your Valentine's date, but remember the important thing is your love for each other -- and support of each other. Every day you have the chance to show that love by helping each other become healthier.

Oh Tina, I'm so sorry that you and Jason are both under the weather today, but are still with each other, so that's the main thing. Well, both my husband and I have been healthy. I baked my husband a healthy cherry chip cake with a light layer of chocolate frosting on the top! He gave me a unique green plant that has beautifully curled leaves and a bag of dark M&M's, which he said are better for my heart. Well, I thought with moderation that is! And that's what they've been, a quarter of a cup is counted! Take care and I hope you both are as good as new real soon!
