V-Day weigh in

This will be another short but sweet entry. had a pretty good week food wise. Had another great workout at body pump class. But the scale didn't move much. I am sort of used to the fact that after a good week it takes my body a week or two to adjust so hopefully more downward movement next week. I will post a .4 loss for this week. Not much but any loss sure beats a gain! Hope you all have an awesome Valentines day!!!

Starting weight 380 lbs
week 5 weight 274.4 lbs
week 6 weight 274 lbs
Difference -.4 lbs
Total weight lost 106 lbs
lbs to goal 24 lbs

    Chris, I'd change places with you in a heartbeat brother. Keep it up! .4 down is better than .4 up. As you told me, sodium and water as well as a little more cardio this week may click it back into place.

    I'm about the same distance from my goal weight and I've decided that it just gets harder the closer you get because your body slows down on the weight loss. I have zero science to back this up! :) However, it's been a blessing because I've started to work on some maintenance strategies, including the psychological effect that the scale has on me. I've never tried Body Pump, but the way you rave about it I might have to see if there's a class near me! :) Happy V-Day friend!

    Not the weigh in you wanted, but it is better than a gain. I have had my share of unwanted weigh in's so I know how it feels. But you do know what you're doing and I'm sure you're doing all of the right things so it's just a bump in the road.

    any amount of a loss is a great thing and should be celebrated. it takes a lot to even leave the comfort zone and want to loose weight. you have done great things. focus on that and how good you are feeling. the numbers on the scale do not define you. how you see yourself is how you are defined :)
