So this weekend my friend Karen & I are taking her 2 daughters to Niagara Falls - it's Family Day here so we have Monday off work.
I've called the hotel we are staying at and found out that they have both a gym & a pool so I know I can get a couple workouts in.
The hotel is also attached to the Fallsview Casino - so I'm hitting that as well :)
My work has recently started a health & wellness program called Srpout - today a rep from Sprout came in and we had a Body Composition Analysis and these were the results I got:
Total Body Water: 81.6lbs
Dry Lean Mass: 30lbs
Body Fat Mass: 126.3lbs
Lean Body Mass: 111.6lbs
My weight is 190% of the "ideal" weight for my age/height
I have 61.5lbs Skeletal Muscle Mass which is 15lbs more then the average woman of my age/height.
My body Fat Mass is 520%
My BMI is 40.8 and my PBF (Percentage of Body Fat) is a whopping 53.1 - that number alone almose made me cry.
My BMR is 1462 kcal
And they were even able to break down where in my body the muscle mass is located - 5.8lbs in right arm, 5.6lbs in left arm, 17.2lbs in right leg, 17.5lbs in left leg and 49.8lbs in rest of body - these were all classified as normal numbers.
The guy is coming back in the summer so we can do another test and see what (if any) improvements have been made.
At the same time I was asked to be a Sprout Wellness Champion - someone to encourage other members and to coordinate challenges. The Champions don't have to be super fit or workout know it alls - just people who are committed, excited and determined.
The fact that someone in my company thought of me? very humbling.
To everyone who commented on my blog yesterday - thank you! Between you guys and this anaylsis - this was the kick in the ass I needed to get myself in gear. It only gets better from here :)
