I am trying to be a good mom/wife tonight and I have a really special Valetines dinner planned. I got "healthy" steak tips (they are actually marketed that way- they are still amazing!! and green beans for dinner and then I splurged and made ghiradelli brownies in the shape of a big heart and a smaller heart. I have already counted out all my points and even allowed some for ice cream with the yummy brownie so yum! However, I was sitting here thinking about my son coming home from school and how he is going to smell them and really want one now. So I thought I'll just let him have the smaller one for snack after school (the boy is 15 and can't keep weight on since he was sick in November and lost 14 lbs!) but- and here is the rub- I broke a piece off to "try" well now I have broken about 3 pieces off and the whole bottom half of the heart is gone. I could just say screw it and eat the rest of it but I am going to count those points for that brownie that I ate and let him eat the rest. And, I am not going to think about it anymore. No beating myself up! Now he just best get home soon- lol!

    I am a sugar addict, once I get started I have 3 or more servings before I stop. emoticon
