Still Going Strong

I can hardly believe I have kept up with tracking my food intake since Jan. 1. I have never had such a streak since joining Spark in 2009.
I have lost about 5-6 pounds, and inch and a quarter off of my hips and now I can fit into all of my clothes in my closet. I do need to lose the last 5-6 and tone up to wear some of those clothes comfortably.
As is my tendency I did overdo exercise and now have a muscle strain in my quadriceps. It is minor but I am going to baby it until I can exercise comfortably. I do not want a situation that takes months to recover from. From what I read on-line a week to 10 days of rest should take care of it. I am not stressing over it. I am keeping my calories even lower because of not exercising that much. I'd rather be sidelined in February when the weather is yuck then in the spring or summer. So onward I go. I know I will reach all my goals this year.
