Sorry I haven't been on lately, life has been crazy lately! This doesn't mean I haven't been staying on track. I have been which is why I am unable to sit at the computer. Sparkpeople's mobile abilities are pretty limited even on my tablet. Trust me, making a blog entry on a tablet bites! ;)
I did a 5k on Tuesday and was so proud of myself. I only added 2 (barely it was like 1:35) minutes to my time since before the accident. My trainer wasn't surprised one bit, he told me that he knew I would push myself and overcome.
The 5k was around the areas by my gym, part of the "Try-It Tuesdays". There will be another 5k in May and my goal is to take off at least 5 minutes from my time. I know it is possible. Especially considering a ran the 5k with pulled hamstrings. Too many chataranga's on Sunday. No that isn't food, it is something Yogi's will understand. hehe Next Tuesday is a Team Boot Camp, which will be tough BUT I will overcome and push through it. I am ranked #98 in the Nationwide 90 day challenge. 7th in females nationwide. I can win this!!!!!
Running out of time so goals...
Did I make healthy food choices? Yes!I am finally able to eat enough during the day, last night my sodium intake was high but that is a rarity anymore.
Was I physically active? 5k Tuesday, resistance training for 1 hour and 15 minutes of cycling yesterday.
Did I feel/act motivated? Yes! I want to look how I feel on the inside! I know I can do this!
Did I stick to the program? Yes!!!
