A Valentine's Day Question

Thursday, February 14, 2013

Here's a meaty question. if yesterday was lent, and you get candy for Valentine's Day, then you might not be able to eat it. Right?

Sunday, since my sons would be gone today, is when I celebrated Valentine's Day. I made Crazy Cake with Cherry Frosting and home made French fries with heart shapes, to go with the fried oysters. See Below.

So today I am trying to stay away from candy etc since Sunday I ate toooo well.

My exercise is just lugging wood mostly. So I got to get myself motivated to do more.

Sherlock is taking his antibiotic pills well, but he enjoys drinking from my indoor stress calming water fountain. Perhaps I should be upset but I am not. Cats do like to drink from flowing water and as long as he is still getting normal water and not breaking the fountain, I see no harm. I need to keep replenishing it anyway. I do have other water near his dinner bowl and upstairs in my bathroom.

Everyone have a wonderful Valentine's Day!!

The food looks delicious. I have to laugh at Sherlock. He seems so calm, cool and collected. If he was outside for a long time, he may think the fountain is a stream of water.

I do my Mom's laundry too, then with bedding, towels, rugs and our clothes, I can do a load a day.

Oh, my goodness! Where did you find that picture of the "questionable" hunks of meat?

I think Sherlock is doing just fine and the fountain won't hurt him. As far as the candy, I think if you give it up for Lent - then no you can't have it! Happy Valentine's Day to you and Sherlock!!!

Sounds like Sherlock is settling in quite nicely.

It is probably more fun for your cat to drink out of that fountain. You know how cats are, they are going to do what they want
