Wanting to Run Away Part 2

Thursday, February 14, 2013

So last night I get done with work at 5 to have everyone home by 3. No one can start dinner so I did at 6. Then helped my daughter with her homework, ate and crashed on my couch from exhaustion. I was supposed to have a friend come over at 9 for coffee but stood me up without a phone call or text. Gotta love people like that but also glad due to again I was utterly exhausted.
I left some leftovers on the counter just to prove my point and sure enough I am the only one who sees it and the food stayed on my counter all night just to be thrown away this morning by me. It was only a bowl of mixed veggies but still money that went into the trash. Then I got my husband off to work and my daughter off to school. Not an hour goes by and hubby calls and asks me to pay a bill online..sure I said, no problem. I have nothing else to do (that part I said to myself).
Work (real job) is slow today so I am cleaning my house. However, I found my old exercise DVD's and I am planning on making time for me to use them. I want to exercise, I want to play my guitar, I want to read my books and not crash on the couch from utter exhaustion.
Would you believe my Christmas tree is still up in my house? Well it is! I should just decorate it for each up coming holiday..red for valentines today, green for ST. Patricks Day in March, then red, white and blue for Memorial Day and July 4th, then a back to school theme, Halloween, Thanksgiving and before you know it Christmas. Why put it away right? Don't worry honey, even though all I asked you to do was 3 Christmas things, you did do 2 out of the 3..guess I will put the tree away because I am super woman.
God, I can't wait for St. Patricks Day. Being I am half Irish, going to find me a rockin' party, drink lots of alcohol and eat corned beef & cabbage and enjoy MY holiday without any interruptions. But this ride has got to stop. I am a wife, mother and daughter...not a maid or servant.
When will it be my time?
