My shin splints are still giving me a hard time, I've done week 1 of C25K one day two weeks apart and each time I'm crying later that day with the pain, I decide to not run until I'm pain free and when I'm pain free I run and instantly am in pain again, I guess I'm not letting them heal long enough.
So to keep myself busy while I let myself heal, and to stop the weight gain I bought Body Pump for at home, my sister does it at home and loves it, let me borrow it and I decided I would try it out, a friend does it at the gym and swears by it. I think it should arrive tomorrow. I also have Turbo Jam and the gym in my back pocket should I need it.
But 80% of the battle is food, I need to focus on this, of which I have not been.
I have been making small changes but then slipping back and doing something like eating potato chips and brownies for breakfast.
I've managed to do pretty good the past few days, focusing on water, starting out breakfast with an orange and then eating again something with protein a little later, lunch has been salads which haven't been the most healthful honestly, today I made a pot of rice, added beans and rotel with some spices, so its all cooked and ready to go for lunches.
I've also got support.
