That's more than 10lbs lost since starting the competition, and about 14lbs since after the holidays. Awesome!
Okay, I'm sure some of that is water weight, but 196-200 is exactly where I wanted to be at this time, so things are progressing according to plan. I have 20lbs to lose by June 3rd, which amounts to about 5lbs per month. Totally doable!
The more weight you lose, the harder it becomes to lose even more, but at a 5lb a month goal, I shouldn't have to worry much about increasing my intensity and lowering my intake.
I'm going to write up a 6 week update report with some plans for the next few months, but on Tuesday I'm starting this intense 3 week program. After that, I'm going back to what I'm doing now (slow and steady), but going to try as hard as I can to get to a sub-2000 calorie a day average. That'll be key.
I'm now enjoying my usual egg white and turkey sausage breakfast, but added a nice corn muffin as a reward. Woooot!
