This is what greeted me when I woke up this morning. We had 4" overnight. My DH, who has not been doing chores for the past few weeks, is feeling so much better. He woke me at 6 AM to tell me that the shoveling was ALL done! I always get up at 6, but as a favor to me he actually comes to wake me up everyday. (SHH I love morning kisses.) It's a great way to start my day.
We exchange Valentines at this house, so last night the table was all washed and everyone started putting out the cards and goodies at the respective spots at the table. It was very festive.
The family members who have work and school are gone for the day, darling 3 year old is still asleep! So I do a bit of spark, eat my breakfast and exercise.
Yesterday I had my highest amount of steps in a day so far, 11,765!! That's just since getting the fitbit in January. I really wanted to hit that 10,000 mark for weeks now. Yesterday was very active, even though it was a day of fasting it went by quickly.
Claire, he gave me another cyclomen! RED
My hot pink is almost done blossoming it started in November, the light pink is going strong and now a beautiful red!! I love them!! And they are all so different. The hot pink has a very strong, perfume scent, small foliage and flowers. The pink has medium size blossoms, multiple colors from light pink to pink to a lavender at the center and no scent. The red has giant blossoms and foliage with thick stems, and a funny musk scent.
I asked for no candy this year, because I gave up sweets for lent. Instead I got a really wonderful granola, a pineapple, wine, roses and the cyclomen, and beautiful cards. LOVELY gifts!
Bella even wrote her name on the card she made for me, it's the first time she has written her name all by herself with no letters to trace over.
Happy Valentine's day everyone! Love to all my spark friends!
