Food accountability!

I resisted tracking every calorie I ate for so long. I thought it wasn't something I could do in the long term, but I am so glad I started. The first few days were hard to get used to because I didn't know I was eating soooo much. Once I got my calories into the 1200-1500 range and got over food withdrawl, I am actually seeing results. It is somewhat comforting knowing I can do this and it really isn't a burden. The extra fat is my burden! I have four children I cook for every single day. To overcome eating what they were eating I just learned my favorite foods and automated it. Everyday I have pretty much been eating the same thing with small variations. This has helped alot. I don't have to think about it anymore. Anyways....I am optimistic about my future now. It seemed like a lot of work to log your food, but I have gained more time and a smaller waist for it. Woo hoo:)

Maybe you can start incorporating the small variations into your kids' meals then it won't be such an ordeal at mealtimes.I remember I used to cook a meal for me, one for my DH and another one for the kids. It was so crazy!
Great job tracking your food. It is amazing once you start tracking to find out how much we were eating and how much fat. Atleast that was my case.
    Have a great day!
