Show Yourself Some Love Today!

Thursday, February 14, 2013

Awakening to some angry voices did not deter me from doing Classical Stretch this morning. Loosening up those muscles takes away any morning stiffness. Yes I would have preferred to close my eyes, but getting the blood flowing helps me take on a new day,
Next was testing my blood glucose. A bit high this morning, but testing every am gives me a benchmark, just like the scale does for many folks. This tells me I still need to work on healing.
Ah, my morning cup of coffee, the warmth and silky mouth feel helped soothe me. I donned my new sparkly soft red scarf to remind me to share the love.

I'm usually much better at showing others how much I love them but taking the time to care for me is another way too.

SP has helped me take better care of myself. The loving care from my SP friends is something I truly treasure. Like yesterday's suggestions from 1CRAZYDOG and FREELADY. Those words helped me deal with as Pooh would say: "There is a Rumbly In My Tumbly. " It truly means the world to me as when I am not feeling well my focus tends to drift to the rumbly.

In a bit, I will do my mediation, eat healthy meals, and do random acts of kindness. It is fun to see the expressions on people's faces, sometimes I don't stick around to see it, but being nice is its own reward. That's why being nice to yourself is important too.

Wishing you all a Happy Valentines Day! Know that you have a special place in my heart because I would not be me if it were not for you being in my life.

So for you, I would like you to think of three positive adjectives to describe yourself. Please share them with me won't you!

Awww . . . HUGS and glad if suggestions have helped. Lord, I remember "back in the day" the "cure" for an ulcer was what was called "the sippy pail". It was like a wine cooler type of bucket and you kept cream chilled in there. You had to down several ounces of cream every hr. (YES, every hr.!) Imagine!

Now it's a lot more "scientific". The major thought in many cases is that ulcers are caused by a bacteria in the gut, specifically the H-pylori. If you blow into a specially designed balloon device, the presence of this is detected and then you go on a course of antibiotics.

Obviously, this is different from your situation that was caused by the aspirin.

Hoping you get to feel better.

HUGS and Happpy Valentine's Day.
