Strength training is about one thing. Getting strong. I was inspired by 4A-HEALTHY-BMI's blog post Tuesday.
What is truly inspiring to me is seeing someone lift and progress.
She used the site strstd.com to measure progress. The site normalizes and ranks your lifts based on sex and body weight. 4A ranks in the intermediate category, which is no small task. The exception is the bench. Here is her ranking from strstd.com. Note, these are true 1 rep maxes, so this girl is really strong, not just theoretically strong.
A little hard to read, but the blue bars represent her ranking. The squat is getting awfully close to "advanced". Maybe one day I can convince her to change her name to 4A-BIG-SQUAT.
