Wow what a difference a year makes.

Thursday, February 14, 2013

A year ago I was in radiation for my Breast Cancer, in a verbally abusive relationship( always called me ugly and fat), being cheated on( course I didn't know it) and in my ex house. Fast forward now I'm in a great relationship with a guy who told me on the first day we met that there was nothing wrong with me, that my ex was crazy and I am discovering that for myself. I have my own house, which I love, and I have a beautiful husky( ex hated huskys, said they were bad dogs, idiot) Asha and my new baby kitty Itty who we have had since 5 weeks old. So yeah life is good, next month, the 21st to be exact I will be cancer free for 1 year, the day after that it will be 1 year since Mr. Wonderful dumped me for the other one and all I can say I am so grateful that he did. Life is good emoticon emoticon

I am in the midst of some changes to better handle my disabled husband's care. It is scary to think about changes. You are giving me courage to make some changes. Thanks, Chris

What a wonderful story to read...a survivor of many things! I too know how bad it can be to be in such relationships, only to come out on the other side. I hope during your treatment, you had family support as I'm sure your x was not.
