Me again.

Thursday, February 14, 2013

So I`m trying so hard to loose weight and for an year I`ve lost 11-12 kg. It is not much considering that I have to loose another 50 but at least I did not gain some.
I don`t know what I`m doing wrong but maybe it is just mu Hashimoto and pre-diabet conditions that holding me back.

I`ll continue anyway hopefully this year I can loose more.

Remember this is not a sprint! It's a marathon! Keep up the fantastic work and you'll get where you want to go in great shape and health!

You've managed about 10kg more than me! Slow weight loss like that is very sustainable, and helps your skin go back nicely. You wouldn't want a skin a couple of sizes bigger than you were!

That's a big part of the "lifestyle" approach... looking for ways to make changes that bring health and fitness for the long haul.
You can do it! emoticon

Congratulations on losing more than 20 pounds! Even though it's not all you wanted to lose by now, that's still a wonderful accomplishment! I'm losing very slowly, too and have found it helps me if I focus on minutes of exercise and calories logged each week (I use the averages you can get on the Daily Feedback page - click "More") instead of the scale numbers. The weight falls off when our bodies decide to let it go (and not on my preferred schedule!).

Each of us is different. If you're measuring and logging accurately, you might need to tweak your numbers of calories or activity. I can hear your discouragement, but you've already come so far! Think how much you've learned, and how many tools you have at your fingertips. And we're all here, and we all know EXACTLY how you feel.

It's a good thing. Slow is always the best as it tends to stay off. Go back and look at your food tracker. See where you can tweek it. Change up the excerise routine. Our bodies tend to get use to things pretty quick. Be proud of your non food accomplishments. Those are big milestones too.

Keep up the good work and be kind to yourself.

Cindy.
