Today I almost did IT!!!

Thursday, February 14, 2013

... I actually touched it already... and then left it and did not put it in my mouth... and turned to fruit instead. I wanted to eat that raspberry white chocolate slice so badly... it looked absolutely delicious... it called my name, in fact it had my name written all over it. Well, I left it on the plate. I did lick my fingers which touched it and that lick confirmed that the slice in fact was sublime, divine and marvelously, finger licking good. I ate more fruit than what I intended yet I did not touch the slice again.
The only thing that actually kept me from eating it was:" DINNER!!!" Tonight my Austrian friends will cook a real Austrian dish called "Kaiserschmarrn" which is basically thick and scrambled pancakes and absolutely delicious (I loooooove the Austrian or South German cuisine, mainly due to the fact that they have sweet main dishes... I mean, basically just dessert for dinner??? That's my kinda dinner!!).

There is nothing wrong with a slice of cake, I'm not saying that, it's just if you know that dinner will be rather "rich", it's ain't no good idea to have a rather rich snack as well. I was proud of myself, even though I wasn't very happy at that precise moment, but NOW I am!!! I resisted, I wasn't controlled by the food luring me into the JABBA trap (and I almost stuck my finger in it, geee). Rather, I was in control, I made the choice to say no, as hard as it was... seeing the pieces disappear inside my skinny (and some of them not so skinny as well) friend's mouths. I ate watermelon and extremely yummy nectarines and removed myself from the table pretty soon.

I suppose that's another victory won!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
