I thought I would be short on miles today, as I had to drive my niece to an early appointment and missed out on the dog's morning walk, but it didn't happen that way. I ended up walking the dog 7.1 miles anyways, plus the 1.5 miles it took to walk to the gym and back. So, I walked 8.6 miles today. After I dropped off my niece and gave my dad back his truck I went to the gym. Today was race day for my virtual 5k, so I started my workout with that and finished in 32:22, which is my best time so far! Then I did some ST, but the treadmill was calling my name... so I got back on for another hour. All together I ran 7.9 miles! And then I got on the bike and pedaled 8.6 miles, before finishing up my ST on the machines. I am up to 155 pounds doing squats on the leg press machine. After all that I headed home for my protein shake (and to walk the dog). I did 125 jumping jacks this evening after dinner (not directly after lol). I am able to do them all at once now, which makes me very happy. I was jumping, and I jumped right out of my pants! Good thing my door was locked. That is my cool NSV for the day. That pair of jeans is now officially Too Big! LOL Anyway../ my mileage for the day was over 25 miles, so I didn't lose any miles after all. Cool how that worked out, huh?!
Dinner tonight was lovely. I cooked for my neighbor. We had chicken stir fry over brown rice. I stopped at the grocery store while I had my dad's truck and bought water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, and fresh ginger root, among other things. I love the taste of fresh ginger! I am still nearly 1000 calories short today, but I am going to go have a hearty snack, before snuggling into my recliner to finish reading my book.
