My mother in law has celiac disease. She has never had an official test. If she has just a little wheat it will set her off. It amazing how much stuff has wheat in it. Even some of your vitamins have wheat in the. Hope you get to feeling better soon anyway.

emoticon I just want to ask you something - why do you want this test done? It is an expensive test that is really not necessary - If you are asymptomatic with no gluten and then symptomatic with gluten - you have your diagnosis. Congrats! You diagnosed yourself! There is no reason to put yourself thru the torture of eating bread for a week and feeling crappy for a test you actually don't need(in my opinion). I am not a doctor but I am a lab tech. Just from what you are describing you should just avoid gluten - forever- the end, amen. You can save your money and feel better. emoticon

Wow You have a lot on your plate. I am cautious about saying this because I don't know you and/or your beliefs, but I have an overwhelming need to pray for you! I pray God will be with you through the next week. I have seen my sister go through the pain of celiac disease and I see her struggle everyday to maintain the dietary requirements (we grew up of high gluten diet and she misses it at times) But I know God will be with you. God Bless you!
