Elliptical awesomeness for real this time! =)

Wednesday, February 13, 2013

The new console for the elliptical arrived yesterday and in a matter of minutes the elliptical was fixed! Yay!!!

I found another piece that the delivery people broke and called Sole Fitness about it. They are sending a replacement part ASAP, but luckily it's not a part that really matters. By the way, their customer service has been AWESOME!

Today I thought about waiting until Monday to start using the elliptical... but then I thought why not start using it right away? What sense does it make to put it off?

So I got home from work and immediately got ready to get on the elliptical... before I could try to talk myself out of it!

I now realize exactly how out of shape I've gotten!

I wasn't really pushing myself because I have a tendency to over do it and I want to avoid that... so I made it 2.1 miles in 35 minutes and burned 466 calories. Definitely not my best workout, but that just means there is a lot of room for improvement!

I'm ready to start seeing GOOD changes!

Oh and I need to remember... tight laces on the treadmill... loose laces on the elliptical! My toes used to go numb on the elliptical at the gym occasionally... but I think both FEET were numb by the end of tonight's workout! lol

Isn't it funny that we beat ourselves up for not working out as hard as we might, when we were thinking of skipping the workout all together? I totally do that. I want to skip the gym, I almost skip the gym, then I go and I decide I'm only going to walk three miles on the treadmill. I leave and feel bad about it. LOL. And I was going to SKIP it and do nothing.

Congrats on the elliptical and congrats on getting moving. :)

WTG on kicking some major butt on the elliptical! That's the way to do it, without thinking and just doing!
