The Journey Begins

Just after Christmas, my husband and I began walking. We both knew we needed to add exercise into our routine...both for health and weight. I saw Sparkpeople on-line and clicked our of curiosity. I am amazed at what I've found. I actually joined January 16th. Since that time, I've tracked our walks, read blogs and articles and participated in the surveys and quizzes. I've also lost 5 pounds! It may not seem like a lot...but to me it's awesome! I've a long way to go. My goal is 40 pounds. Wow! Seems like a lot. But, I'll keep focusing on having more energy and slowly watching the pounds come off! Here's my journey!

    Five pounds is WONDERFUL!!! CONGRATULATIONS!! I would say that you "must" be doing something right, but obviously you are!!

Keep on keeping on.... Five pounds is amazing when you just to lose 40... It took me ages to lose any when I got started!!
