I lost another 2.6!

This morning was my "official" weigh day. I'm really pleased that I lost 2.6 lbs. for a total of 5.4 lbs. in 4 weeks. I exceeded my first month goal of 4 lbs. I'm shooting for 7.6 more by the end of April. That will put me 2 lbs. below my WW goal and some "wiggle" room. I'm back on track and will be back to "maintenance" in no time.
I really wasn't concerned after my dad's birthday dinner on Sunday, because as I mentioned before, I had plenty of activity and weekly points. My plan was to run on Monday, but DD#2 ended up going to a friend's house and working on a biology project and DD#1 wasn't feeling well. I fell asleep on the couch with just enough time to pick up DD#3's Girl Scout cookies and DD#2 from friend's house. So now I have over 70 boxes of cookies at my house!
DD#2 and I went to the indoor gym last night to run. I ran a mile straight, but it was really, really hard! I thought it would be easy since I was on the indoor track! I finished up with about 20 mins. of running and 8 mins. of walking. I finished up quickly because I had to take DD#2 to a orientation meeting for a Spring basketball league she's playing in. She was already in the gym shooting baskets when I finished and wanted to shoot a little more, so I rebounded for her for another 10 mins. We had to hurry home and change and get to the meeting. By the time it was over, it was 7:30 and we hadn't eaten yet. DD#2 wanted to go by Publix and pick up a King Cake for Fat Tuesday. I picked up some chicken for her and DD#3 and a pre-made salad for me. I didn't eat any of the King Cake!
I usually try to do something extra for Lent instead of "giving something up", but it kind of slipped up on me, so I'm not sure yet what I'll do. Our church has a lot of activities going on during Lent, so I really need to make time to participate in some of these.
I have to take DD#1 to work and pick up DD#2 from weight training. DD#3 has youth group at church, so I'll try to get my ashes when she goes. I'll also try to squeeze in a workout with my DVD.
We're leaving Friday morning for Florida to visit DH's niece that had twins in December. I haven't even thought about packing! DD#3 has a cookie booth tomorrow (yes more cookies!). DH is off tomorrow until Tuesday!!!, so he said he'll work the booth and I can pack and get the girls ready for the trip.
I'm going to take a bunch of bottled water and healthy snacks for the trip. Our room has a mini fridge, so I can keep stuff in there. DH said they have stores in Florida (hah!), but I know I'll do better if I already have it on hand. The hotel also has a full gym and it should be plenty warm to run outside too!
I feel kind of guilty because I still haven't signed up for the 5K on 2/23. Today is the last day for the $10 discount. You would think that would motivate me, but I guess I'm a little disappointed in my progress. I don't think I would be able to run the whole thing (which I usually don't do with 5K's anyway!), but I'm struggling with just a mile. I know I can finish it and probably with a pretty good time (under 40 mins.) with walking/jogging. I don't really have an excuse because we don't have anything planned that Saturday?! That's it, I'm signing up now! That will be my first "extra" for Lent. It's for a good cause and it's good for me!
