Still there - and kicking!

I haven't been consistent with Spark People lately. I had so many things to think and to do that I just... forgot.

2 weeks ago, my breathing was getting worse, especially at night. after 2 nights without sleeping because of the pain in my throat, I went to the emergency.

The doctor said that there was a big chance it was anxiety, which that I found pretty weird because I didn't feel so anxious or anything. There was a slight chance that my pain was due to acid reflux. The doctor gave me some pills for the reflux saying that there was 90% chances it wouldn't work.

But... it did, and now I don't have any problems with my throat. I am so relieved!

For the exercise, I have been doing great (just skipped a training in one month). For the food, It's... kind of hard. I really try to follow what my nutritionnist said, but sometimes I have so much sugar and/or salt rushs.... I know I went over my calories for a few days since I started again.

Yesterday, I had one of those rushs. After my dinner, I wanted salt AND sugar! I was about to eat a whole bowl of popcorn (didn't put it in the microwave yet) and was thinking of sugar when my boyfriend decided to lecture me. I didn't like it (especially when he said that my workout will never work anyways...) but it kind of worked. I finally ate a banana... along with a square of chocolate.

At the gym, I do what is called an impedance test. It measures your fat, muscles and so on. Since January 28th, I have officially lost 4 pounds of pure fat! I'm just proud of that. That means that somehow, even if I'm not too invested in my weight loss, it works. I just have to keep going!

    This is great news-you should be proud of yourself for having a banna instead of the popcorn (although popcorn without the butter is healthy as well!) Keep going! There is a reason that this is a LIFE-LONG journey.

    You can keep going....if that works for you, great!! Are you using the Nutrition Data Tracker here on Spark?? If not, why not?? It's really easy and give you all kinds of useful information that might make it easier for you to be able to watch your intake better. I have had very, VERY few incidents of eating what I shouldn't....because there's very little that I must absolutely, positively CAN'T have!! It's more a question of how much rather than what.
