My first goal is a combo - Make healthier food choices and move around more.
With the first part I have been able to make changes to eating more fruit, trying some new vegetable receipes and making use of our juicer to make tangelo juice. Cutting down on my Pepsi consumption to one can at work only (I only work three days) and one can only during my time off at home. I usually only like veggies with lots of butter, but we tried an asparagus receipe from this site that roasted them with a little olive oil, salt, pepper and minced garlic. YUMMY! I can do this!
Moving around more means going more places with my mom, dancing when I can with my husband and doing more things around the house. I am an avid cross stitcher, so this is quite a challenge for me, but when I stitch, I don't snack as much.
These two goals have brought about a little bit of weight loss and an up-tic in energy. Looking forward to finding more great veggie reciepes!
