Slept like a log!

Wednesday, February 13, 2013

I went to bed early last night and fell asleep before I could even read a page of my book! I woke up once at around 4:45 AM and decided to go ahead and get up and get moving. I took a shower etc and then went to sit on the couch for a few minutes under my comfy blanket. That's where I woke up at 7:20 AM! I leave my house for work at 7:10 AM! Needless to say I was late for work this morning. I do feel pretty good though, well rested. Tonight I'm going to try to get to bed early again and see if I can do two nights in a row with no interruptions. :)

I also did a little self pampering last night after work. I got a manicure. I will once a year at the beginning of the summer get a pedicure but I never get manicures. My nails have been really growing thanks to the healthy eating and supplements. I haven't had nails long enough to GET a manicure in years. I love how they look!! I had them painted a really pretty mauve color which is my favorite lip color too.

Thanks Beccazen7 you're right it does feel good to get a good night's sleep. I am so hard on my nails it's a miracle I have any at all ever. :) I never remember to wear gloves when I wash dishes etc. It just never crosses my mind until one of my nails breaks.

emoticon doesn't it feel great to get enough sleep?!? I guess that couch is more comfy than you realized. LOL. Congrats on the healthy nails! Bet it feels great to get a manicure. I never have since my work is in the lab and putting gloves on and pulling them off several hundred times a day does not bode well for pretty nails. Oh well, enjoy yours!
