Staying the Course

I recently pinned an inspirational quote that said, "It takes 4 weeks to see your body changing. It takes 8 weeks for friends and family. It takes 12 weeks for the rest of the world. Keep going." I keep this in mind on the days that this becomes hard, and the awesome thing is, people ARE beginning to notice, even if the scales don't.
I've been back at this for 6 weeks now, and I honestly think I'm doing the best I've done since high school, as far as trying to get fit. I've been taking a 1 hour zumba class 3 nights a week, limiting my calorie intake to 1500 calories a day, and just yesterday, I began the Couch to 5k running program. Maybe I'm a masochist, but today, all the creaking and aching I feel feels GOOD. It means I worked out, that I pushed myself.
