Today has not gone according to plan. Firstly, it was a day without pupils at school and we have two days holiday after this so I think the taste of Freedom went to my head. Secondly, it was snowing all day until about 3pmish and then it was dark and rainy so I think this made us all crave a bit of comfort.

The upshot of all this is that I have consumed: Half of a danish pastry, 1 and a half slices of a delicious date and toffee loaf my colleague made and 1 large chocolate cookie.

I still have to have my dinner!

Oh well. There are going to be days like this and all I can do is accept that my choices have not been the most sensible today and move on. We're also going to our dance class tonight so at least I can work some of it off.
