I am feeling good about hitting my goals yesterday. 10159 steps for the day!
I went out for dinner at one of the local diners here in Placerville with one of the neighbor ladies. This place has terrific old fashion milkshakes made with real ice cream, poured into a glass and then topped with whipped cream and a cherry. They even leave you with the metal cup it is made in full of the extra shake.
Good news is that I didn't order that! I had a hamburger and cut it in four pieces. I ate one piece and brought the rest home and froze it for three more meals! This is a huge change for me--I used to order both the burger and the shake and eat it all. So I am happy with myself today! Yippee! I have a brain and I used it!
