I think slow but steady wins the race. That speedy rabbit who falls asleep versus that pokey turtle who keeps his nose to the grindstone. Then there's that Grapes of Wrath turtle who doesn't give up seeking self-survival. Slowly working his way to his self-determined finish line. That must be the key. Slow, steady work toward a goal. Something is better than nothing.

    That became my motto here on Spark People, especially after I joined The Slowest Loser Team. No more "diets", no more desperate self-deprivation thinking all it takes is sheer will-power. Dang. All any of that did is set me up for raving cravings and relapse! You got it right! Spark ON!
