I figure since it's the beginning of Lenten season, now's the best time for me to kick it in. Granted, I'm not Catholic, but I might as well get on the bandwagon and focus on what's important during this 40-day stretch.
That, and I've been celebrating Fat Tuesday for like, 10 years straight. I really celebrated in style yesterday, eating all I could that was as bad for me as possible. Ick.
Me, Day 1
So, day 1. Today the plan is - (MET, as posted 10:26 pm)
*Track all food intake and keep the calories within my range of 1200 - 1500. (DONE)
*Drink at least 64 ounces of water. (DONE)
*Do at LEAST the 15-minute workout video from Dr. Oz's Sean T visit - I've had this downloaded for some time now from YouTube. It's like a tiny little touch of the Insanity workout from what I understand, and it has kicked my behind in the past. (DONE)
*Do AT MOST day one of Jillian's 30-day Shred workout as found on YouTube. Thanks to the "Sole Sparkers" team for mentioning it's on YouTube, as I have to pick up the video from the library and just haven't made it there yet. (PICKED IT UP TONIGHT!)
That's all. I weighed myself this morning (eek) but will continue to do so on Fridays per my original plan.
Perhaps I should take and post a picture every 10 days, too? We'll see if my daughter is available to take the picture when she gets home from school.
