Made a Motivational Chart :)

I am a girl who thrives on tangible and visual rewards. So I took an extra calendar that was lying around my house and decided to have a real chart of AWESOMENESS to keep track of my 28 days of SUCCESS in the "SP Spring into Shape Bootcamp Challenge." Currently my chart has 16 consecutive days of completing the requirements of this challenge. I have it hanging on my living room door, so that I see it all through the day and evenings too. emoticon
I would say that this chart has made all the difference in me sticking to it with this challenge. There have already been so many days in which it was "inconvenient and/or I was too exhausted" to exercise and YET I STILL DID IT ANYWAY so that I could put my sticker in the box. emoticon Am I the only Sparker who gets a thrill out of putting a sticker in the box to show that I had accomplished something amazing?!? emoticon
AND did you notice the STICKERS I am using? I have a photo of one below.

I found this symbol on the internet. I call it my Bootcamp Victory Sticker - I love the check sitting on the bullseye of the target! Isn't it great?! I copied it on a document, sized it to fit my calendar boxes, and printed out a sheet of them on sticker paper in my printer. Then I cut them out and have them hanging in a ziploc right near my chart of AWESOMENESS. I think I can honestly say that I've not exercised every single day for this many consecutive days ever....even in the summer when I swam laps. The OTHER GREAT THING about the Spring into Shape Bootcamp Challenge is that I have been doing toning videos from Spark that are recommended for the challenge, plus I've been doing other Spark videos too along with my regular cardio routine of either walking or using my Wii Fit Plus. Can you tell I am slightly pumped up and encouraged? I hope I can pass on my excitement to you.

2013 is a very, very special year. It is OUR YEAR to see ourselves at the top of the mountain rather than the bottom. It is OUR YEAR to go shopping for new, cute, smaller sized clothes. It is OUR YEAR to climb stairs and go on long shopping sprees and outings without feeling exhausted. It is OUR YEAR to look into the mirror and recognize the person smiling and staring back at us. emoticon

    I have a calendar and stickers too. I give myself a sticker every day that I drink 8 glasses of water, exercise for 30 minutes, and stay in calorie range. I don't have many stickers on it. Indeed to work harder.
