I need to remind myself of this. I have had a very tough couple of weeks at work. I've either been so busy that I barely have time to go to the restroom, or I've been so bored that I wanted to do a face plant on my computer keyboard. My eating has not been that great. I'm not much of an emotional eater, but I do tend to get the munchies when I'm bored or tired.

I hope that things will settle down now with people bringing in junk food to the office. Yesterday was Fat Tuesday & we had Mardi Gras celebrations galore. There was food at every turn.

But today is a new day -- a day to make different choices -- better choices.

And don't forget to add a little humor . . .

    These are great. I am going to subscribe to your blog and friend you if you don't mind :) I too much when I am bored or tired. Being tired is a real tough one for me. I chew gum and tr to have go to snacks. Light and fit Greek yogurt is my thing these days. Lots of protein and it tastes great!

    I hate to remind you, but tomorrow is Valentine's Day. There will always be another eating occasion...That's the only way some people know how to celebrate.

    I have hit a roadblock and the scales just won't move the past two weeks. I have to change something before I run into a real wall and quite. Just kidding. I need to make changes in order to change the scales.

    I have not exactly cheated the last couple of weeks, but I have been eating over what I know I should. Healthy food isn't healthy if you eat too much. But I won't give up, I have just taken the weigh ins like a grown up & have promised myself to do better.

    It is so over-used, I can't beleive I'm going to say it.

Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.

Except I like to substitute skinny and put healthy in stead!

I understand the boredom thing. Yucky. I wish you success in all you set out to accomplish!

    Don't think of a blue tree...

What are you thinking of? A blue tree perhaps?

My personal trainer showed me that, if we put our goals in the negative, ie DON'T give up, then the first thing our mind thinks of is "GIVE UP", and then has to put the "DON'T" in front of it.... oops... too late! We are already thinking of giving up!

We have to put our goals in positive words, like "STAY FOCUSED", or "BRING IT ON" or whatever. so our mind is only focused on the positive!

This simple little trick turned my world upside down and really energised me to focus on my goals... I hope it is a gem for you too!

    well i am in the middle of making marzipan hearts with the kids which we will then dip in chocolate ready for tomorrow, that is temptation.also trying to stop the kids from eating them all so we have some for tomorrow is prue stress.4 year olds just want to eat them now lol.afterwards i plan to make some date and nut parcels (my husbands favorite and if their is any of the biscuit dough left from the parcel will make some heart shaped biscuits.also still have the valentine cards to make.tomorrow will be heart shapped taost and egg for breakfast and for midday heart shaped home made pizza.havenīt decided on the dinner guess tomorrow everything will be hearts and flowers.have a happy valentines day and keep on keeping on emoticon
