More stollen bikes!

Wednesday, February 13, 2013

When I reported that my husband's two bikes were taken I was advised that another man in our condo building also had two stollen in the same time period. Yet another man had one stollen last year. The board president says the board will try to work out some way to better protect us. We think someone who has key access is the most likely thief. It it sad. I suggested that maybe the guys should go bike shopping together this spring. Lol! I stick to the stationary stuff.

so sorry for them, theives are the worst!!! I always try to remember stuff is stuff and we are always blessed for the people and love rather than stuff. Sometimes that can be a challenge like when stingy people take what does not belong to them.

It doesn't give you your bikes back knowing someone else had them stolen too but now you know you are not alone and maybe more security measures will be implemented. Thiefs who get away with stealing something minor, later on move on to bigger things so I hope your condo association does something that will actually help. Good luck! emoticon Chelsea

It is just such an uneasy feeling, too.

Good luck with getting the bikes back. Did you have insurance that might cover your loss?

That's exactly how our bikes were stolen!
A previous tenant must have had a key to the store room.

I just don't get why people do stuff like that. Hope you can get them back.

Upsetting to know that someone would dismiss the feelings of another person and take their things knowing it isn't right by law. I hope they are caught and punished. So sorry this happened in your community.
