I stopped drinking soda.
I've been hesitant to post lately because this is one of those changes that could very easily be lost if I slip up. But I haven't in nearly a month. And I'm sticking with it.
I don't feel any different, really, which is kind-of a bummer, since it is such a huge change for me. I have cravings, but that is about it as far as that goes.
The weird thing? I don't miss the taste, the sugar, or the caffeine. I miss the bubbles. I miss that little pop feeling in my mouth and my throat.
Some people drink diet soda or flavored sparkling water. I can't do that, because for me it is a very slippery slope (I am not usually one to agree with the slippery slope argument but I know me and my weaknesses personally).
So... I'm soda free. :) Yay!
