Week 1: Fianlly got all my manual journal entries into my sleep journal. On to the second week.

Pistachio nuts to get my protein daily requirement.

No. Sleepy in afternoon but didn't want to take a nap so I would go to sleep earlier than last night.

Calm in spite of learning from my vet that my older cat (19 years), Sissy, has terminal kidney disease. Can either put her down now, allow her to live with disease and severe, painful arthritis in her back, or get treatments to prolong her life and not suffer so much. I'm in denial. Haven't talked to the vet yet. She left voice mail with bad news. I'm putting off talking to her. Afraid that I won't be able to afford the treatments.

Calm, but my friends said I sounded hyper. I have a lot of engery.

Lack of sleep. Felt shuggish and gittery in the morning until I took a nap.

    Thanks MSROZZIE for taking time to comment on my Sleep journal. I am focused on my fitness and weight management and I have consumed my daily requirement of 8 glasses of water. I also consume from to 1 to 2 cups of coffee daily. My weight is my main concern.

Just like there is a relationship between fitness and weight loss, there is a collation between sleep and weight loss. I learned that from SparkPeople Sleep journal articles.

I wake up on the average of 3 times a night hallucinating and sometimes in a state of fright. I 've been told by my doctor that I might have sleep apathy and to get tested.

I thought I'd keep this sleep journal to determine if eating properly and working out as much as possible will eliminate the frequent wake up and hallucinating. If not, I'm going in to take the test.

I have osteoarthritis in both knees and need both knees replaced. But my doctor wants me to loose 100 lbs first before she will do surgery. I've lost 48 of the hundred on WeightWatchers. 52 more to go with Spark.
Having said all this, I take your advise and am focuses on fitness and weight loss. I'll have to give you an update on my session with my YMCA trainer, I'll be taking water aerobics and other water related exercises. Also some machines that won't cause discomfort in my knees.
