Shoot for the STARS Challenge
We just completed a week long challenge on our Ninja team. It was really motivating - there was a lot of enthusiasm and friendly competition! It pushed me to exercise much more than I would have normally. My exercise goal this week was 275 minutes and I finished the week with 419! Exceeded that goal by more than a little bit!
The theme of the challenge was about reaching goals. I managed to reach the goals that I had set for myself this week but in retrospect, before this challenge,I haven't been attaining my goals lately. I have an overall picture of where I'm going but I think I lost sight of the smaller picture. I need to focus on my goals for each week - back to those baby steps!
Nutrition has got to be my focus - exercise has gotten fairly routine - I can't imagine having a day without exercise now! That's a PLUS! I did well this week because early in the week, I made a meal plan for the week and stuck to it! I have got to get back into doing that routinely!
I'm going to start reaching for the stars every week! Starting with a firm plan for both nutrition and fitness!
