You are blocking my view

Wednesday, February 13, 2013

I am at the gym, working out by myself cause all of my workout buddies bailed on me. After working out for about an 1/2 hour, I notice a man staring at me from way in the corner. You know when someone is looking at you, then you look up to see them looking right at you. So I just ignored it.

20 minutes later I decided to complete my exercise on the bike, so here I am, 110 RPM...really rolling and watching Modern Family on the tv and laughing with my headphones on,... all of a sudden I see this guy out of the corner of my eye walking pass me. Then pass me again and then again, it is too obvious he is trying to get my attention. I find it so funny.

I come to the gym to work out and not find men, I am on a mission, but I couldn't help but chuckle. So after about 15 minutes of walking pass me, he stands in front of my view of the tv. He is smiling and I just look at him and say " Excuse me you are blocking my view" and kept on cycling. I am not normally like this, but I was on a mission to get my workout done and not make a date. His friend laughed and they finally walked away from me. Thank you for leaving me alone. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

More of my adventures at the gym....

lol...hey you never know where you might meet the one... but it happens.

I read with my head down in my book. I know what you mean though...I try to avoid eye contact but you can just feel it sometime. Fortunately they haven't gottent he nerve yet to approach. Sometimes I stare back just so they can see how it feels...usually they turn, i smile too...
