Tuesday, Feb 11, 2013...work and beyond

Tuesday, February 12, 2013

The pace is picking up a little more at work and lasting a little longer into the afternoon...happy to head home after nine hours. On the way home I tried different solutions in my mind...how to get the hay trailer out and leave animals at the barn...always a stealth operation...and there was still one plump Snowball ewe lamb peering from the barn door as I manuvered my way out of the barnyard...I lured them all into the big pen for dinner after feeding the ponies and dog. I am all set to pick up a few more weeks of hay in the morning.
After that I was feeling confident so I decided to go to Wal Mart before having dinner...it was only 6:30pm....later at 9 I crawled in carrying my quarry...2 new cell phones to replace the older ones. Mine was no longer holding a charge and I didn't want to take a chance on Mom's suddenly having problems. Of course this started me on an hour of acquainting Mom with the new phone and making sure she had the basics down....while heating a frozen dinner chicken tetrazini...after polishing off a fruit/nut bar on the way home. Funny part is that while the dinner tasted ok to good...I wasn't famished and I wasn't looking for anything else to nibble on afterwards....sleep is looking pretty good after being up 18 hours.
Maybe tommorro I can figure out how my phone works...lol

New phones...ugh....they're always such a pain. Once you get to know them, they're great but getting there.

getting the trailer out sounds like a real chore.
