Problem Solving

Tuesday, February 12, 2013

When I'm working on a problem, I never think about beauty. I think only how to solve the problem. But when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is wrong.
~R. Buckminster Fuller

How do you define beauty? What do you see in others that can be beauty? It isn't something on the outside to me but rather on the inside. Kindness, sharing, understanding, helpful, and loving. We can share our love with everyone we meet. Show others what you have on the inside and if it isn't beautiful, you can have a chance to remake until you shine. Blessings to all!!

I agree with this entirely and have always felt this way.
But it really hurts when an episode occurs in life and that person shows an entirely different attitude.

Well said, my friend! I certainly have experienced this first hand, having dealt with so many people in my profession. Some of the most beautiful people on the outside are not so pretty inside, where it counts, and the reverse is true! Some of the not so pretty outside are the best on the inside. In the end, it all comes down to how we have treated people..........All people!

These days, there is so much store put in physical beauty, when it really shouldn't matter at all................ emoticon emoticon emoticon

For years I've said that every person has some beauty within them. It might be difficult to find and might be overpowered by negatives they've brought into their life, but those who are open to it can find it. A hardened criminal could be a beautiful artist, a young child can have an innocent and pure loving nature, and the roughest biker guy could be the biggest teddy bear ever. The person might never realize that beauty is there, but encouraging it to come out can help someone in immeasurable ways.

The inside is the beauty of a person and only if they are loving, kind, helpful, etc. all of what you said above. I don't know if people can change-maybe some in time. But, I have been around some ugly people on the inside and no matter what or how they pretend sometimes to be good, they always seem to show their true colors, like -BENI- said -eventually. emoticon

I totally agree, always knew beauty was in the inside because even if someone is not the prettiest on the outside and their inside is beautiful, it always shines through with me!

    Definitely on the inside.
A person always shows their true colors eventually. It may take a while but it always comes out.
    Happy Valentines Day this week!
