Snacking changes

Frequent, Sit-with-the-bag snacking and too many visits to the candy drawer at work, and munching on crackers with greek yogurt dip while I fix dinner has gotten me in trouble ... So I'm determined to cut out those habits! (they were gone for years, but I've gotten lax. It is frustrating to see that even after 4 years of a healthy lifestyle, I can easily fall back into bad habits. But I'm not bound to repeat past mistakes! I have the power to make healthy choices! And I want to honor God by taking care of the healthy body He has blessed me with!

Today I ate 1 fruity snack/breakfast cookie at staff meeting (yes, the recipe is on SP) -- other staff members enjoyed them, too! Instead of chocolate this afternoon I ate 2 Chocolate Calcium Chews ... Chewy like a tootsie roll, and chocolate-y. 10 calories! This evening I ate 8 Poppers (used to be called Quakes). They are little caramel flavor puffed rice cakes. I like them Too much ... cannot sit with the bag! But a small serving is a healthy choice and satisfying. I am calling it a very good snack day! I'm moving back to goal weight!
