Best Friends Wedding...

Got the best news a Bridesmaid could ever ask for.... I get to pick my own dress! Isnt that awesome? she is emailing me a picture of the Maid of Honours dress and a color swatch..then the rest is up to me! Sweet.
My overall goal is to be 245 by the wedding.. thats 70 pds in 7 months. Doable Yes but i still havent lost the first 50 i goaled to loss a year ago. So i have to nail down a doable schedule to get these pounds off by then. right now my mini goals is to be able to run 20 mins straight by the end of the month. Right now i can do 10 no problem.
I went to a Womens Expo on the weekend and i won 10 Piloxing classes w My Trainer... emoticon . Very exciting,...something i havent done before to shake the body up. and i am going to try the R30 class at the Gym. Shaking things up might help...and i am gonna start more walking (i avoid it at all costs in the winter cause i am prone to falls... my feet hate snow lol)
Gonna find ways to push some limits to get this weight doing down a bit faster. Cant wait for the winter to be gone to start hiking again! I love hiking...
Goal for July 1 is to Run or (worst case scenario) Walk a emoticon

emoticon on your win at the Women's Expo. What a perfect prize to win.

You are very fortunate to be able to pick your own dress for the wedding. Your friend is very thoughtful to allow you to choose your own dress for her wedding. It provides opportunity for you to find something you'll enjoy wearing and feel comfortable in.

I just have to ask whether you truly feel that loosing 10 lbs a month is realistic for you? I just wonder because I know I have found the first pounds come off easily and the loss does slow down eventually. I just don't want you to become discouraged by setting a goal that becomes so difficult that you quit. You know yourself best and need to set the goals which you feel will work for you. Right now my goal is 5 lbs. per month after a 60 lbs weight loss. because I don't want to become to discouraged.

I want you to be successful at whatever your goal is. I am hoping that you'll post photos of your dress and that we'll be able to see you particiapting in your friend's wedding.

Keep up the hard work towards your goals. emoticon
