Today did not start off well [I was very jittery an not feeling very good]; however, I am feeling better now that I've eaten a good meal, [dinner for brunch... ] stupid-ally skipped breakfast [except for my iced coffee],
but, for brunch we had cubed steak dipped in egg white and corn starch [only thing I had to use for breading]
Guess I need to buy corn flakes or something non wheat
I'm not gluten intolerant, but have allergies; anyway, red potato and sour cream [good combo] with ..we tried something new thanks to the advertising here on SP: Green Giant Tuscan Seasoned Broccoli. You know, it dawned on me that if I focus on making a new recipe or menu.. it's kind of fun to plan and cook healthy!
Something else new:
I exercised last night...
which you know isn't easy for some of us to get motivated to do.
But, I watched a few EASY motivational videos here on SP and decided a little dancing along with some toe touches and knee bends, reaching for the stars, isn't that hard,
I just have to get up and do it!!!
Also, I was reading the SP's cook book
I bought on Amazon and it really motivated me to see that eating the same old thing is why I've quit dieting in the past.
We would get into the habit of eating the same thing every week, and so the old dishes I wouldn't cook anymore, would sound good, too good and we would indulge to the place of pigging out.
So, I'm excited about trying new dishes ...even thinking I could learn my own spices and forget the processed veggies like we had tonight [though they were good]. If your spark is not as bright, try mixing things up.. do something new, make SP work for you!!!!
It can be fun!!!
