Starting seed tapes

Tuesday, February 12, 2013

It's easy to set up your own seed tapes and the older I get, the less I want to deal with glasses in the garden. Some of those seeds are pretty darn small. I can fumble a packet with the best of them, then weeks later see a mass of tiny sprouts fighting for the same spot of soil.

I've been advocating them for the elementary kids, but I'll be doing it too.

A good idea for youngsters and those a wee bit older...if it works for both, all the better.
