Shoot for the Stars!

Tuesday, February 12, 2013

It's week 4 with the Biggest Looser Challenge (BLC) and things are going great! The first week my weight didn't change but the next few weigh-ins found me slowly whittling away at it. Then I had eye-surgery and due to a reaction with the medicine lost five pounds in five days through constant vomiting. Once I started to recover one pound did come back but loosing weight by puking is cheating so I welcomed the pound back with open arms. I'll get it off the right way this time!

Learning that as you become more fit your workouts must intensify is one of the things that I'm going to take away with me after the BLC is finished. Another is how easy it is to fit in 25 jumping-jacks here, 10 pushups there, etc., even with a toddler. *Actually, Peter loves to watch me do jumping-jacks; they make him laugh.*

It's amazing how our children can be entertained by things we do, embarrassing or not. Eight more weeks of entertaining your son and while you get healthier. Win! Win emoticon !
