Set a goal today

When I got on the treadmill and was viewing how many calories burned in 3 laps, I realized that I would have to walk 9 laps just to burn off 300 calories. So I did. Just before my last lap was over, an Avon customer called. I filled the order and then went and finished the lap and figured, "what the heck" I did another lap to make it a total of 2 1/2 miles walked. My mind was in the wrong set for a bit saying that I could not do it, but I ignored my thoughts today. I know I can do it, it's just that I'm overweight and it gets boring walking on a treadmill. I tried to start the boom box to listen to an audio book that I wanted to finish but it did not seem to want to run today so I daydreamed as I walked. I guess that works as good as a book some days. emoticon
