During the last week/week and a half I've stepped up my workouts (walking on the treadmill) to 15 miles last week - mostly 2 miles a night, a couple times 3 miles.
I dislike the treadmill, but am trying to "become one with it!".. yeah, walking on the dreadmill is boring - watching TV, listening to music - but I'm getting better at it, walking 2 miles in 45 mins which I feel great about - just struggling to find my groove. I've put pictures up of a cruise ship (going on a cruise this Dec) for motivation - it is working...
Tonight I dug out my old VHS of Richard Simmons - Sweat and Tone - it felt great, although I'm not sure of how many calories I burned, just doing it felt great - I'm sure I'll get tired of his voice, sorry, so I'll be looking for other means to do this kind of workout. I find following a DVD is better for me than just doing it on my own.
I have tried the "Walk Away the Pounds" DVDs as well, but they kill my shins...
Keep going!!!
