Track Your Progress with a Measuring Tape

Body measurements can be a useful way to track your progress. Many times you'll see a loss of inches even if the scale isn't moving. To ensure accuracy, measure in exactly the same place and under the same conditions each time.
~~the dreaded measuring tape. I hate it almost as much as I hate the scales. I'll get those measurements on the first day of the challenge... but don't look for me to post those numbers!! LOL!

    Love that pic!

I am with you on that. This girl will also not be posting numbers! It's painful enough posting my weight!

I am not doing actual measurements this time. It is a hassle and I need to get some one to help me to make sure its done properly. I have taken two articles of clothing, a pair of jeans and a blouse, and try them on every 4 weeks. I take pictures and compare the difference in fit. Not as scientific, and I have only done 2 sets of pictures so far, but I can already see the difference. emoticon

Those skin calipers are kinda awkward to use; especially, in the beginning.

    You can do it!

You can hate it now, but you will love it when the numbers go down! For me I was doing so many things right for what seemed like forever but I was not seeing the scale go down. So the tape measure gave me some vindication that I was making progress. Without the tape measure I might have thrown in the towel and quit because all the hard work wasn't worth it. I'm glad that I stuck with it because although the scale didn't show much difference, my pants were hanging on me. Stick with it, you will see results!

Cute picture! I have so much trouble with the measuring tape--everytime I do it I get a different reading plus, I can lose 10 lbs and then the next time I measure my boobs they're bigger. Its so inaccurate when I do it.
