Geez, the universe does not like me today! First, it turns out I will definitely need to have a couple of surgical procedures, which is going to put a real damper on the whole being-able-to-sit thing these next couple of months. And then, if that wasn't enough, I'm pretty sure the two ding-dong high school boys pushing shopping carts at the grocery store called me a fat ass as I was walking by. Hey universe! What did I ever do to you?!

Strangely enough, my response to being upset about things not going so well at the doctor's office was to drive to the store to buy grassfed steak. And blueberries. And a little seaweed salad. Stress eating takes a strange turn when you get on a paleo kick.

Oh well, at least things are heading in the right direction. Onward to (eventual) health!
